First Year University
From Biliwiki
In my first year, I studied the typical classes for a first year Law/Economics student.
Semester 1
- LAWS1000 - Torts A and the Legal Method (TATLM)
John Devereux's portion of TATLM stood out as interesting, but that's mainly because he's such a solid and engaging lecturer.
- LAWS1001 - Contract Law A
Vicky Comino was not a very engaging lecturer and was easily distracted and often lead her self on paths of unnecessary explanation. With the alternative lecture streams in Contract A, I should have bailed and attended a different lecturer's lessons to make a comparison, but hers was the only one I could attend.
- ECON1010 - Introductory Microeconomics
I enjoyed the introductory economics subject quite a bit. Bruce Littleboy was the standout lecturer for the Economics course (Intro Micro).
- ECON1310 - Quantitative Business Analysis A (Statistics A)
Stats is stats. I enjoyed studying for this subject quite a bit because it was just massive amounts of repetition. Watch out for confusing and error-prone lectures from Asafu (I think that's how his name was spelt).
